A Review of For Those Who Stare At the Moon by Tiffany A. Flowers

A beautiful book, with rich illustrations and a story that matters. I loved the fantastic elements and how the story speaks to life. As with all great literature, this picture book is at once an escape and a reflection of life – wit powerful metaphor. It actually reads as a poetic work in terms of the word-based text from Tiffany A. Flowers, with the interweaving of colorful and vivid imagery from James Eugene.

I will also note that portions of proceeds from the book are donated to New Orleans Public Library Foundation to rebuild the library. A shout-out to the author/illustrator team for sharing work – and sharing the results.
