HELLO GUYS!
First I want to thank Jason for this interview. Thanks for contacting me
We are READY!!! 1. What drew you to comics?
When I was a kid, I started reading my father's comics drawn by the great Buscema. As soon as I had Conan's comic in my hand, I was struck reading those stories and seeing those drawings. It was love at first sight, and from there I realized that I wanted to become a comic artist. 2. What do comics allow you to do as a creator?
This is a good question. Being a comic artist is nice to create stories hat tbring to reality what you imagine in your mind. I think it is a fantastic thing, I have the possibility to do this work, especially for others knowing that they will read and see what I create. I look to always give my best, hoping that the reader will be impressed and happy because they are dedicating a part of their time to what I have done. I try not to disappoint them. I am a temperamentally introverted and reserved person, but through comics I am able to express myself and open up.
3. You have worked on some very well-known titles and popular characters — any especially positive experiences you’d like to share about?
I have been lucky enough to work on important characters in the world of comics, from Zorro, Red Sonja, Dejah Thoris, Spider Man 2099, and many fantastic characters and stories with which I shared a lot. Being a Star Wars fan, I was thrilled when the editor Mark Paniccia contacted me to work on the Obi Wan Kenobi run written by Chris Cantwell. Not only that, but then my adventure would continue with Star Wars in the Yoda run. I never thought I would work on YODA!? I'm part of the amazing world of Star Wars! Fuck, I grew up with those movies! It's hard to believe it's true! 4. Any characters or storylines you’d love to work on?
At the moment, I am really happy to be working on Yoda along with other great artists and set designers to collaborate with Marc Guggenheim for this run. Marc is really a fantastic person. I have a dream, and it would be one day to work on Conan the Barbarian, where he started it all. But there are also so many other characters that I would like to draw.
5. Where can we find out more about your work?
I have a Twitter profile (@alessandromirac) and an Instagram profile (alexmiracoloart). I must be honest, as I said before, I'm not very social, being very reserved and introverted. I want to leave a greeting to all of you and thanks for those who have spent some of their time reading this little interview and above all thanks to Jason. CIAOOOOO, see you soon !!!!
