1. What drew you to comics?
The passion for reading, images, and the possibility of exploring fantastic worlds in the company of extraordinary characters!
At the end of a comic, like a book, the world you remembered is different from how you find it.
2. Please tell us about your creative process.
I always proceed in an orderly way…documentation, study of the characters, layouts… and if I have to color, I want to have a clear idea of the atmosphere…the vibration of the pages, something that is always narrative and not descriptive.
3. What do comics allow you to do as a storyteller?
There are no limits; your imagination is limitless, it has to be. Also, you can sometimes avoid the words, just the visual language...the rest is up to the reader!
A total involvement!
4. Please tell us about The Panic: Ten Survivors and any other titles/work you'd like to share about.
There are many books to talk about! THE PANIC talks about fear and cooperation, there are no monsters, but there are human beings and their fears, their ideas, their doubts and weaknesses… an explosive mixture.
MANIAC of NEW YORK...it looks like a splatter comic, but it touches the strings of a very complex social fabric, ours...the real one....the one we live in, there are many ideas!
BUNNY MASK…when you can't describe terror…you don't know where it comes from, you don't know where and how to fight it…maybe it's better to let yourself be seduced by it…
PARASOMNIA…here the world of imagination has no boundaries, If you can think so, you want to create it, you can live it!
A LEGACY OF VIOLENCE...once again the terror is all human, all terrestrial..taken from a true, recent story…explore the twists and turns of human madness!
COLD BODIES...a psycho thriller where reality and fiction intertwine! British Paranormal Society...directly from the Mignolaverse, an adventure at the edge of the world...and I'm not talking about our world!
CIVILIANS… when the power of the mind is the burden of a simple man…who does not know what he can do !
