1. What initially drew you to comics?
Love at first sight. Colorful superhero costumes. And having a secret identity was appealing because it was kind of like playing hide-and-seek. "After Daredevil defeats The Rhino, he quickly sneaks away to change to his secret identity as lawyer Matt Murdock." 2.What do comics allow you to do as a storyteller?
It helps your imagination flower. You can draw spaceships and your own characters in other worlds with, as they say, with an unlimited budget. Paper cinema.
3. You've drawn a range of very popular heroes - any favorite experiences so far?
Probably the four-issue story arc for Captain America, written by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman (#29-32, 2004). He jammed in all the classic villains. It was loaded with action. A dream for a lifelong Cap fan.
4. Any message for children who want to grow up and work in comics?
Right now, it's Summer 2022, so take that time that school is closed and spend a lot of time practicing and improving your art or writing. That doesn't mean you can't go out and play basketball or see movies. It's just that now you have more time on your hands. Then one day...you have to take a hard look at yourself and decide if it's just a hobby or if you want to make it a career. If so, you'll work extra hard to improve. Then post it on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc.
