1. What initially drew you to comics?
At first it was the art, I would read them & draw my own pin-ups of Superboy or the Batman. Then when I read Fantastic Four #1 by Stan Lee, I discovered how impactful the story could be & have been a die-hard fan since. For me, the art is a big influence in what I read, but Stan Lee is indeed the Man in my book
2. Please tell us about your creative process.
Inspiration comes from multiple sources, whatever the task, once I get down to pencil to paper I look at each piece as a brand new masterpiece waiting to be created, I then follow my instinct & hope I find a way to make this work better than my last.
3. You’ve worked on a variety of notable titles and characters — any particularly positive experience to share about?
Having drawn a Spider-man book is great for the resume and gets me invited everywhere. Drawing my favorite DC Comics title the Legion of Super Heroes & being known as the Wally West Flash artist, the true Flash btw ;-), is also cool. It’s totally mind-blowing to me when a fan comes up at a convention with a book that I drew in 1980 & they know more about the book than I can remember.
4. Are there any storylines/characters you'd like to tackle next or revisit?
Many, many, many!! New work & characters are on the way. Stay tuned for updates.
5. Where can we find more information about your work?
I use Facebook as my home base. I like life as simple as I can make it. Everyone should feel free to reach out or friend me there.
